Wayne F. Kirsch, 65, of rural Hazel Green, WI passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Flagstaff, AZ due to a heart attack. Services will be 10:30 am on Saturday, February 16, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kieler, WI, with Father Bernie Rott officiating. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Church cemetery, Kieler, WI with military rites accorded. Friends may call on Friday, February 15, from 2 pm-7 pm at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center in Kieler, WI and on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Wayne was born on June 14, 1947 to Otto & Hazel (Brammeier) Kirsch in Dubuque, IA. He married Mary Margaret "Margie" Dalsing on September 13, 1975 in Kieler, WI. One of his greatest joys was serving in the US Navy Reserve for 25 years and was honorably discharged in January 1996 as Senior Chief. He worked for Truck Country in Dubuque, IA and as a supervisor tending to the greens at Birchwood Golf Course was his favorite. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed woodworking, meeting with his buddies for a cold drink and telling stories, but most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Wayne is survived by his wife, Margie of Hazel Green, WI; 2 sister-in-laws: Rita Hesseling and Bernadette (Gerry) Tranel; a brother-in-law: Linus (Marcia) Dalsing Jr.,mother-in-law: Margaret Dalsing, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a father-in-law, Linus Dalsing Sr. and a brother-in-law, Jerry Hesseling. In lieu of flowers a Wayne F. Kirsch Memorial Fund has been established.
