W. Paul Wills, 93, of Cuba City, WI, passed away on April 19, 2015 at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23rd the United Methodist Church, Cuba City, WI with Pastor Dan Verdegan officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, WI. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22nd at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and on Thursday, April 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Paul was born March 11, 1922 in Platteville Township, the son of Earl & Pearl (Curtis) Wills. He attended rural schools for eight years, and graduated from Cuba City High School in 1939. He married Alice M. Tiedemann on February 23, 1946 at First English Lutheran Church, Platteville. Paul and Alice had one daughter, Sue Ellen Wills, who resides in Yorktown, Virginia. He and his wife farmed in the Cuba City area all of his life. His wife, Alice, predeceased him in death on March 24, 2005. He was also predeceased by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Myrtle & Bernard Doyle, sister-in-law Dorthea Tiedemann, in-laws John & Pearl Tiedemann, nephew Charles Doyle (and his wife Barb), and niece Kathleen Brant. Paul was an avid reader, enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and music of all kinds, and was very devoted to his family. He was a member of Cuba City United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Sue, his son-in-law Terry N. Grinnalds, step grandson Ryan S. Grinnalds, and brother-in-law John F. Tiedemann, Jr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the W.
