Viola M. Casper, 87, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 peacefully at her home. Services will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, December 19th at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City, WI with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial in the St. Rose Cemetery, Cuba City, WI. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 18th from 4pm-8pm at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and on Wednesday from 9:30am till time of service at the church on Wednesday. Viola was born at home on December 24, 1924 to William & Minnie Rousch. She married Joseph Casper on November 12, 1946 in Cuba City, WI. She was a Cuba City High School graduate, a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church and the CCW. She enjoyed sewing, baking pies, auctions, and time spent with family & friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Viola is survived by her husband Joe; 2 daughters: Karen (John) Horst of West Bend, WI and Lynn (Gary) Bell of Platteville, WI; 4 sons: Merrell (Louis) , Philip (Julie) both of Cuba City, WI, Dennis of Hazel Green, WI and David (Janet) of Fulton, IL; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sons, Jerome & Paul. In lieu of flowers a Viola M. Casper Memorial Fund has been established.
