Thomas "Tom" E. Champion, 47, of New Diggings, WI passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, IA. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 17th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI, with Pastor David Arevalo officiating. Burial will be in the Hazel Green Cemetery in Hazel Green, WI. Friends may call from 11:00am until time of service on Saturday, October 17th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI. Tom was born on April 21, 1968 to John & Judy (Dubel) Champion in Hazel Green, WI. He worked as a press operator for many years at Orchid, LLC in Monroe, WI. Tom enjoyed following the ever-changing technology and science, history, canoeing, a true love for animals of all kinds and an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan. He will be missed by all who knew him. Tom is survived by his mother, Judy of Lancaster, WI; a brother Ken Champion of Benton, WI; a sister, Dorothy Champion of Lancaster, WI; a step grandmother, Nellie Bouzak of Prairie de Chien, WI; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John, maternal & paternal grandparents. In lieu of flowers a Thomas "Tom" E. Champion Memorial Funds has been established.
