Thomas "Tom" C. Loomis, 76, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Manor Care in Platteville, WI. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI, with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City, WI. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, July 16th at the funeral home. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Tom was born on January 26, 1939 to Louie & Phoebe (Rider) Loomis in Alexandria, MN. He graduated from Cuba City High School in 1957. He married Beverly A. Kane on April 15, 1961 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City, WI. Tom worked for over 30yrs as a meat cutter at the IGA Store in Cuba City, WI. He was a Boy Scouts Weblo Leader and scout and later a Boy Scout Commissioner from 1970-1972. Tom enjoyed NASCAR racing, bowling, hunting, fishing and old movies from the 1930-1960's. Tom was best known for his great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Tom is survived by 2 sons: Randall (Sarah) Loomis of Dodgeville, WI and Rick Loomis of Dickeyville, WI; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Beverly (August 9, 2006). In lieu of flowers a Thomas "Tom" C. Loomis Memorial Fund has been established.
