Theodore "Ted" R. Kruser, 79, of Hazel Green, WI passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 18, 2017. Per his request a private family service will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI. Burial will be in the St. Francis de Sales Church Cemetery in Hazel Green, WI. The

in Cuba City, WI is assisting the family.
Ted was born at home on February 13, 1938 to George & Cecelia (Brandt) Kruser in Tennyson, WI. He married Patricia "Patti" Hale on December 10, 1966 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI. Ted served in the US Army. He worked for 44 years at the Dubuque Meat Packing Plant in Dubuque, IA. He was a member of Cole Acres Country Club, St. Francis de Sales Parish and Knights of Columbus. Ted loved to golf and fish, watching the Green Bay Packers & the Chicago Cubs, but his greatest passion was cooking and he taught his 3 daughters well. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Patti of Hazel Green, WI; 3 daughters: Leigh Anne (Eric Barber) Barrett, Kim (Ron) Jakbowaski & Ellie Harrington; 5 grandchildren; 5 sisters: Olive Ann Kieler, Eloise Hinderman, Carol Cherrey, Donna Mae Reuter & Marie Williamson; 1 brother: David (Ruth) Kruser; a half-brother: Harvey (Diane) Duve; a sister-in-law: Barb Handfeld; a brother-in-law: Dan (Shelia) Hale; along with many-many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother, Fred and 6 brothers-in-law.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Theodore "Ted" R. Kruser Memorial Fund has been established.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hermann & staff, Dr. Horcheck & staff and Hospice of Dubuque, especially Katie for the wonderful care and to Richard & Jill Krueger from Haudenshield's for helping us through a very difficult time.
