Sue A. Pergande, 67, of Hazel Green, WI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Services will be at 10 am on Wednesday, August 6th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dubuque, IA with Pastor Jon Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the British Hollow Cemetery in Potosi, WI. Friends may call from 3pm-7pm on Tuesday, August 5th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and on Wed. August 6th from 9am until time of services at the church. Sue was born on Jan. 8, 1947 to E.H. (Jack) & Patricia (Fritz) Kress in Dubuque, IA. She was a graduate of Hazel Green High School. She married Herman Pergande Sr. on Feb. 5, 1966 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dubuque, IA. Sue worked for several years at Advance Transformers in Platteville, WI and retired from Quad Graphics in Dubuque, IA. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed feeding & watching her birds, reading and time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sue is survived 3 daughters: Kim of Kieler, WI, Patty (Dan) Thumser of Kieler, WI and Brenda of Dubuque, IA; a son, Herman Jr. (Sally) of Hazel Green, WI; 2 brothers: Roger (Chin) Kress of Hazel Green, WI and Dave Kress of East Dubuque, IL; 8 grandchildren: Adam, Tamra, Toni, Natasha, Timothy, Katelyn, Jordan and Hannah; 1 great grandchild, Lydia, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herman (03/27/04) and infant son, Timothy. In lieu of flowers a Sue A. Pergande Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hermann & his staff and to Hospice of Dubuque for the kindness and compassion given to Sue and her family.
