Obituary

Stanley T. Runde, 59, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Friday April 9, 2010 after his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Services will be held at 10:30am on Monday April 12, 2010 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI, with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be at St. Rose Cemetery in Cuba City, WI. Friends may call from 3-8pm on Sunday April 11 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI and on Monday from 9:30am till time of service at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Stanley was born on April 15, 1950 to Donald and Violet (Hoppenjan) Runde in Cuba City, WI. He was a graduate of Cuba City High School. On April 24, 1971 he married June Ehrler in Galena, IL. He worked at John Deere and retired after 33 years in 2003. He was an avid of the Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, craft painting and the love of his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Stanley is survived by his wife June; mother Violet; three sons: Chris (Beth) Runde of Belmont, WI, Chad (Becky) Runde of Onalaska, WI, Chip (Sam) Runde of Rochester, MN; like a daughter-in-law Joyce (Mark) Donar or Cuba City, WI; four brothers: Tim (Candy) Runde, Ted (Mary) Runde, Bill (Joan) Runde, Roger (Meryl) Runde all of Cuba City, WI; three sisters: Donna (Dwight) Eggers, Diane Kiley both of Cuba City, WI and Mary Kay (Reuben) VonGlahn of Belmont, WI; four grandchildren: Emery, Dylan, McKenzie and Alea Runde and four like-grandchildren: Justin, Megan, JJ and Josh Donar. He was preceded in death by his father Donald and a sister Dawn.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dubuque, and the Oncology Department at Finley Internal Medicine.
