Shirley A. Wiegman, 78, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Platteville, WI. A private family service will be held at the
Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services
in Cuba City, WI. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Shirley was born on February 29, 1940 to Joseph & Ethel (Davis) Puccio in Dubuque, IA. She married James G. Wiegman on September 23, 1961 in Galena, IL. Together they owned and operated the Longbranch Bar & Grill in Hazel Green WI for over 30 years. Shirley enjoyed singing karaoke, music and spending time with her family and friends, especially her great granddaughter, Haley. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Shirley is survived by 3 children: Connie (Joe) Hinderman, Lori (Dale) Murphy both of Hazel Green, WI and Joe (Cathy) Wiegman of Mesa, AZ; 6 grandchildren: Nicole (Matt) Willman, Renee Murphy, Miranda Hinderman, Ted (Ami) Hinderman, Courtney Wiegman & Hunter Wiegman; 4 great-grandchildren: Trent & Haley Willman and Bryli & Piper Hinderman; 2 brothers: Donald Puccio & Rodney Carr; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim (February 17, 2005), a grandson, Derek Murphy (April 21, 2014), 7 brothers: Sam, Ronald, William, Allen, Joe, Thomas & John and one sister, Barbara.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Shirley A. Wiegman Memorial Fund has been established.
