Sherry K. (Nivarel) Engelman, 66, of Boone, IA, formerly of Cuba City, WI passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, IA. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17th at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City, WI, with Pastor Gus Barnes officiating. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Sherry was born on October 3, 1957 to Lawrence & Alice Jean (Williams) Nivarel in Cuba City, WI. She attended Cuba City Schools and graduated in 1975 from Southwestern High School in Hazel Green, WI. She graduated from Capri College of Cosmetology in 1976 and worked independently for many years. She also worked as an embroiderer for Ann Chapman's in Galena, IL and at Flexsteel Industries for 14 years and later was owned and operated her own cleaning company. Sherry enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family, collecting anything with cows, an avid Green Bay Packers fan, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sherry is survived by 4 sons: Ryan (Linda) Glasgow of Galena, IL, Troy Glasgow, Travis Glasgow both of Boone, IA and Brandon Glasgow of Alexandira, IA; 10 grandchildren: Logan, Arlo, Chloe, Madison, Mackenzie, Carter, Connor and Carson; a sister, Becca Davis; along with nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of plants & flowers, a Sherry K. (Nivarel) Engelman Memorial Fund has been established.
