Shane W. Holder's Obituary
Shane W. Holder, 23, of Benton, WI passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th at the Palace Campground in Galena, IL, with Rev. Calvin Hughes officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday, May 19th at the Palace Campground in Galena, IL. The family asks everyone to wear their favorite camouflage clothing in memory of Shane. Shane gave the Gift of Life as an organ donor. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Shane was born on November 24, 1992 to Michael & Jennifer (Coble) Holder in Scotland County, NC. He was a graduate from Benton High School in Benton, WI. He worked as a groundskeeper and maintenance for the Palace Campground in Galena, IL for 2 years. Shane enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, golf, music, working on cars, time spent with his 2 children, family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Shane is survived by his mother, Jennifer Pruitt of Benton, WI; his 2 children, Jeffrey & Josaphyne Holder, mother of his children, Rachel Lescak of Hazel Green, WI; his father, Michael Holder of North Carolina; 5 siblings: Ashley Holder of Orville, OH, Jason Pruitt and Kaydance Pruitt both of Benton, WI, Kassie Pruitt & partner Scott McCarthy of Benton, WI and Kylie Pruitt of North Carolina; his maternal grandparents, Harry & Barbara Coble of Clearwater, FL, a maternal great grandfather, Edward Ekas of Cranberry Township, PA; paternal grandparents, Billy & Daffy Holder of Ellerbe, NC, along with many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jeffrey Todd Coble, a niece, Leticia Holder-Tavares and 2 great grandmothers: Betty Ekas and Louise Coble.
In lieu of flowers a Shane W. Holder Memorial Fund has been established.
