Ruth A. (Kuhlman) Duncan, 83, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, IA. Keeping with her wishes, there will be no public viewing. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Ruth was born on March 17, 1928 to Elmer C. & Evangeline (Ward) Kuhlman in Greeley, IA. She married Albert Eugene "Gene" Duncan on December 12, 1948 in Greeley, IA. Ruth enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers. She was also one of her great grandson's biggest fans in Texas. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Ruth is survived by her husband Gene; a son, Ron (Lanese) Duncan, IL; a daughter, Deb (Leo) Junk, IA; a brother, Ward "Bud" (Maxine) Kuhlman of Howell, MI; a sister, Ramona (Eugene) Perrinjaquet of Manchester, IA; 3 grandchildren: John(Sara) Blum, Michelle Duncan & Melanie (Kevin) Boates; a niece, Sarah Dickerell & family; a nephew, Scott (Susan)Schabacker; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Gary, and a sister Dolores A. Schabacker. In lieu of flowers a Ruth A. Duncan Memorial Fund has been established.
