Ronald F. Deiter, 72, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Per Ron's wishes, there will be no services. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Ron was born on May 10, 1950 to Guerdon & Gladys (Wagner) Deiter in Dubuque, IA. He was a US Army veteran.  He married Patt A. Smith on August 12, 1972 in Platteville, WI. He worked as a transport hauler for various companies in Dubuque, IA. Ron enjoyed country music, western movies, antique tractor pulls & shows, deer hunting, trips to the casino, but most of all he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patt; 2 sons: Travis Deiter of Cuba City, WI and Troy Deiter of Mauston, WI; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita (Chuck) Poll of Cuba City, WI; a brother, Gary Deiter of Cuba City, WI; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Linda Deiter.
