Roger R. Haverland, 59, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15th at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, WI, with Father Bernie Rott officiating. Military honors will be accorded after the funeral mass; a private family burial will be held at a later date. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. till time of services on Monday, August 15th at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, WI. The

Roger was born on July 17, 1957 to Milford & Alverna (Muller) Haverland in Cuba City, WI. He was a graduate from Cuba City High School. He enlisted in the US National Guard in 1976 and was honorable discharged. He worked in the drywall & plastering business around the tristate area. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors and time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Roger is survived by 2 sons: Tyler (Nicole) Haverland of Platteville, WI and Cody (Samantha Reuter) Haverland of Hazel Green, WI; the apple of his eye and little buddy, his grandson, Miles Haverland; his mother, Alverna Haverland of Dickeyville, WI; girlfriend, Mary Michelle Neverman of Marion, IA; 5 siblings: Donnie "Doc" (Lisa) Haverland, Dale (Ann) Haverland, Shirley (Dave) Wiederholt, Sandy (Jack) Kraller & Tammy (Brad) Iverson; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milford and a brother, Isadore "Isi" Haverland.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Roger R. Haverland Memorial Fund has been established.
