Roberta E. Gjavenis, 87, of South Wayne, WI passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Southwest Health Center in Platteville, WI. There will be no services. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is assisting the family.

Roberta was born on January 3, 1933. She married Edward L. Gjavenis. Roberta worked at UW-Madison in the culinary arts program and helped with the lunch program. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing cards with her grandkids, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Roberta is survived by 4 daughters: Edana (Daniel) Leifker of Cuba City, WI, Karen Raymond, Eileen Naih & Cheryl Shoecart; a son, Robert; grandson, Sean (Heather) Brous; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward and  a son, Richard.
