Philip Alan Poller, 57, of Cuba City, formerly of Platteville, WI entered into the presence of His Lord on September 13, 2011 at 4am. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, September 16 at the Benton Bible Church in Benton, WI, with Pastors Nelson Perkinson and Tyler Stickfaden officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30am till time of service at the church. A private family burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville, WI at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Philip was born on September 5, 1954 to Donald & Alyce (Stoner) Poller in Dodgeville, WI. He married Angie Lou Seegler on August 2, 1997. For many years he ran the family auction house with his father and worked in many area restaurants as a cook. Recently, he worked for Karl Klar on his farm. He enjoyed going to auctions, garage sales and his prayer sessions with his pastor. He was a member of the Benton Bible Church, Partner's Advocacy in Platteville, WI and the Lion's Club. He greatly enjoyed the Christian retreats at the Shalom Retreat Center in Dubuque, IA and sharing time with his loving wife Angie. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Philip is survived by his wife Angie; a brother, John (Nancy) Poller of Belmont, WI; 2 sisters: Mary Lou (Ron) Vinger of Green Bay, WI and Rebecca (Tom) Foth of Trumbull, CT; a very special friend Dan Wilberding, along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul. In lieu of flowers a Philip A. Poller Memorial Fund has been established.
