Paul W. Latham, 100, of Platteville, WI, formerly of Cuba City, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Our House Assisted Living in Platteville, WI. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, Feb. 9th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI, with Pastor Dan Verdegan officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City, WI with military honors performed by the Cuba City American Legion Post #104 and the Cuba City VFW Post #8313. Friends may call on Monday, Feb. 9th from 12:30pm until time of service at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI. Paul was born on May 9, 1914 to Charles & Edith (Pascoe) Latham in Cuba City, WI. He married Mary Ball on August 2, 1952 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. He served his country in WWII, stationed in England. For many years, Paul owned and operated Latham Radio & TV in Cuba City, WI and was fascinated with the ever-changing technology. He was a member of the Cuba City Country Club and proud supporter of the Cuba City Library. Paul & Mary enjoyed golfing, traveling and visiting many countries and traveled much of the United States. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Paul is survived by a sister, Janet (Merton) Deiter of Cuba City, WI; nephews: Gary (LaVonne) Latham of Dubuque, IA, Larry (Michele) Dieter of Santa Cruz, CA, Paul D. Deiter of Dubuque, IA; nieces: Diane (William) Van Deest of Platteville, WI and Judy (Brian) Christian of Verona, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Latham (Nov. 4, 1998); a brother, Donald J. Latham,a sister-in-law, Angeline Latham and a nephew, Donald J. Latham Jr. In lieu of flowers a Paul Latham Memorial Fund has been established.
