Patricia Ann Richardson, 80, of Cuba City, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home, Cuba City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at United Methodist Church, Cuba City, with Pastor Debbie Pimm officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cuba City. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 at Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City. Friends also may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. She was born on July 30, 1931, in Dubuque, daughter of Elmer and Marcella (Wilkens) Heiser. She was a graduate of Cuba City High School. She married Paul Richardson on Sept. 8, 1949, at United Methodist Church in Cuba City. She worked at Schroeder's Department Store in Cuba City and then for 28 ½ years as a secretary at the Cuba City Elementary School and retired in 1989. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Platteville Bowling Association. Pat enjoyed bowling, motorcycle and snowmobile rides with Paul, Wheel of Fortune, high school sports, her dogs and time spent with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her husband, Paul, of Cuba City; a sister, Cheryl (Jim) White, of Galena, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Alice Richardson, of Portage; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; father- and mother-in-law, Ross and Lydia Richardson; two sisters-in-law, Ilene Holt and Eleanor Schardt; three brothers-in-law, Jim Richardson, Alvin Schardt and Earl Holt. In lieu of flowers a Patricia A. Richardson Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you, to Dr. Jeffery White, Grant County Hospice and the staff at the Southwest Health Center for the care and kindness you have given to Pat and her family.
