Mildred "Millie" Heim-Loomis, 91, passed away on Tuesday, October, 15, 2013 at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI. Services will be at 2pm on Thursday; Oct. 17th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI. Friends may call on Thursday, Oct. 17th from 11am until time of service at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI; a private family burial will be held at a later date. Millie was born on Oct. 24, 1921 to Richard & Harriet (Birkett) Bennett in Benton Township, WI. She married Delmar J. Heim on May 25, 1941 in Galena, IL; she later married Louie C. Loomis on Oct. 6, 1968 in Galena, IL. She worked at the Galena Battery Factory and at A.Y. McDonald for over 20yrs. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing cards, Bingo and family gatherings. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by a son; Wayne (Connie) Heim of Dubuque, IA a daughter; Marlene (Sam) Lange of Dubuque, IA. Grandchildren; Jon (Kate), Jason, Justin and Jordan Heim, Debbie (Kevin)Kessler, Carolyn (Jube) Moor, Jane (Dave) Hingtgen, Ron and Allen Lange. 12 Great grandchildren and 9 Great-great grandchildren. A sister; Mabel Stark and brother; Clarence Bennett, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Delmar Heim and husband, Louie Loomis, 3 sisters; Gert Sheffer, Daisy Kieler, Betty Riley, 3 brothers; Jim Bennett, Norman "Buck" Bennett and Melvin Bennett and a grandson, Ryan Hingtgen. In lieu of flowers a Mildred "Millie" Loomis Memorial Fund has been established.
