Mary W. Musson, 97, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI. A private memorial service will be held in June in Gilbertsville, NY. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Mary was born on February 2, 1918, daughter of Charles & Annabelle Walton in Garretsville, NY. She married James Musson in Morris, NY on November 1, 1939. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1999. Mary and Jim lived in Gilbertsville, NY for 60 years before Mary moved to Cuba City, WI in 2000. In 2007, she moved to Our House Assisted Living in Platteville, WI and then to Epione Pavilion nursing home in 2012. Mary was a beautician for several years before going to work at Bendix Corporation in Sidney, NY, from where she retired. Mary was a member of the Gilbertsville Baptist Church and also the United Methodist Church in Cuba City, WI. Mary is survived by her 3 children: Edward (Joyce) of Green Valley, AZ, Elizabeth (Fred) Kiel of Otego, NY and Lucille Davis of Cuba City, WI; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; One sister, Imogene Hover of Oneonta, NY; one brother, Dick (Betty) Walton of Gilbertsville, NY; sisters-in-law: Louise Richards of Morris, NY and Lillian Musson of Gilbertsville, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, 2 sisters, Violet and Gertrude, a brother Charlie and a son-in-law, Dick Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to the Gilbertsville Baptist Church in care of Raymond Musson, Gilbertsville, NY 13776.
