Mary H. Leifker, 84, of Hazel Green, WI passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 13th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Benton, WI with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Church Cemetery in Benton, WI. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, April 13th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Benton, WI. The

Mary was born on July 28, 1933 to James & Anna (Schalk) Walker in Potosi, WI. She married Donald H. Leifker on May 22, 1956 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tennyson, WI. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Benton, WI. Mary enjoyed gardening, music, farming and taking care of her pets and animals on the farm. But most of all Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her husband, Donald; a son, Ron Leifker of Hazel Green, WI; a daughter, Linda Leifker of Madison, WI; daughter-in-law, Mary (Thiltgen) Leifker of Hazel Green, WI; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Janet)Walker of East Dubuque, IL; a sister, Ann Schute of East Dubuque, IL; along with nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dale (February 23, 2017), a brother, James Walker and a brother-in-law, Art Schute.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Mary H. Leifker Memorial Fund has been established.
