Mary "Darlene" Kisting, 78, of Hazel Green, WI, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Southwest Health Center in Cuba City, WI. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3 at 10:30 at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm Friday December 2, 2011 at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cuba City, WI. Friends may also call on Saturday, at the church from 9:30am until the time of service . Darlene was born May 23, 1933 to Harold and Elizabeth (Kilcoyne) Hovind. A graduate of Benton High School, On April 25,1953 Darlene married Paul Kisting in Benton, WI, where together they farmed until moving to Hazel Green. She worked for the Dominican Sisters of the Sinsinawa Mound, enjoyed baking, and cherished her time spent with family and friends. Darlene was a kind and caring person who will be fondly missed by all who knew and loved her. Darlene is survived by four children: Geri (Mike) Cooley of Lancaster, WI; John of Hazel Green, WI; Wayne (Karen) of Platteville, WI; and Kevin of Cuba City, WI, and by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Lillian (Norbert) Aurit, and Sharon Tesmer, and two brothers: Father Philip Conlon and Bud Hovind. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, daughter Lynne Kisting, and brothers Francis and James Conlon. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be givien to the GRANT COUNTY HOLIDAY PROJECT IN MEMORY OF DARLENE KISTING .
