Marlene J. Vickerman, 60, of Baraboo, WI, formerly of Hazel Green, WI, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Marlene was born on October 9, 1965 to Junior O. & Mary Alice (Raisbeck) Vickerman in Hazel Green, WI. She worked as a housekeeper for various hotels for 30 years, and retired February 4, 2020. She was an avid Vikings fan, enjoyed go carts, fishing, puzzles, movies, music by Gun N’ Roses, Pepsi, her beloved dog, Bubbas, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her grandkids, family and friends. She felt so much love towards the end from Aubrey & Mason. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Marlene is survived by a special friend, John Vesperman; a son, Kevin (Twyla) Ubersox of Alabama; 4 brothers: Harold (Osiris) Vickerman of Lone Rock, WI, Darold Vickerman of Dubuque, IA, Bill (Kate) Vickerman of East Dubuque, IL, Steve (fiancée, Patricia Van Natta) Vickerman of Cuba City, WI; her caretaker, Lisa Ubersox of Baraboo, WI; a sister-in-law, Linda Vickerman, 4 grandkids: Aiden & Taya, extra special, Aubrey & Mason; along by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Kevin, Sharon, Donnie and special friend, Irvy.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Agrace Hospice Center in Fitchburg, WI for taking great care of Marlene the last month of her life.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Marlene J. Vickerman Memorial Fund has been established.
