Lucille Francis Alt, 66, of Cuba City, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 29th at St. Rose Catholic Church, Cuba City, WI; with Father David Flanagan officiating. Friends may call from 9am until time of service on Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Lucy was born on August 14, 1946 to Robert & Marita (Staver) Tippett in Galena, IL. She was a graduate of Belmont High School. She married Arnold H. Alt Jr. on June 20, 1981 in Cuba City, WI. She worked for IWT Shakeproof in Darlington, WI for 14 years and retired in December 2009. She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI. Lucy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but most of all she loved watching her grandkids grow. She enjoyed summer trips with her husband. A seven week trip to Alaska in 2010 was her favorite. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lucy is survived by her husband Arnie Alt Jr. of Cuba City, WI; 2 sons: Adam (Christine) Alt of Louisburg, WI and Arnold J. (Linda) Alt III of Davenport, IA; 2 daughters: Melanie M. Alt and Terri Jo (Rick) Wiegel both of Cuba City, WI; grandchildren: Tobias Jeracho Alt, Willie Nye, Elizabeth & John Alt, Justin Alt, Linzie & Logan Wiegel; 9 siblings: Robert Tippett Jr.of Hazel Green, WI, Joan Lee of Belmont, WI, Francis (Jayne) Tippett and LaVerne (Elaine) Tippett both of Belmont, WI, John Tippett of Rewey, WI, Mary (Thomas) Cooper of Dubuque, IA, Margaret (Marc) Bonin of Platteville, WI, Dolores (James) Young of LaCrosse, WI , Bernadine Young of New Orleans, LA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kerri Lyn, and a brother, Charles Joseph. In lieu of flowers a Lucille F. Alt Memorial Fund has been established.
