Obituary

Loretta F. Weber, 92, of Platteville, WI, formerly of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Sunday December 19, 2010 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Platteville, WI. Services will be at 11am on Wednesday December 22 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI, with Father Cy Weisensel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday December 22, from 9am till time of services at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Loretta was born on March 8, 1918 to Charles and Amelia (Roth) Weiland in Asbury, IA. She married Raymond A. Weber on January 26, 1937 in Asbury, IA. She was also a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI. Loretta enjoyed sewing, family gatherings, her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Loretta is survived by two daughters: Donna Mae Neyen-Shea (special friend Allen Schubert) of Dubuque, IA and Janet (Dan) Carroll of Elizabeth, IL; two sons: Clarence (Connie) Weber and Joseph Weber both of Hazel Green, WI; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; four sister-in-laws: Kate Weber of Cuba City, WI, Lorraine Weiland, Martha Weiland and Mary Weiland all of Dubuque, IA, , along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, 7 brothers: Milt, Art, Vince, Charles, Lloyd, Ray and Roy; a sister: Florence Weidemann; two son-in-laws: Bill Neyen and Jim Shea. In lieu of flowers a Loretta F. Weber Memorial Fund has been established.
