Leonard "Lenny" "Len" Pluemer, 64, of Lancaster, WI, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, October 18, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Beetown Community Hall, 7764 Co Rd U, Beetown, WI. Condolences 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., ceremony 12-12:30 p.m., luncheon and socializing 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is assisting the family.

Leonard was born on January 6, 1961 to Larry & Roberta (Cliff) Pluemer in Lancaster, WI. He graduated from Lancaster High School and attended UW-Platteville. Leonard was an entrepreneur who established multiple businesses including Video Venture, Rock-N-Dome NA Dance Club, Cobblestone Carriages, Lighthouse CD Express, Ranch House Lanes & Supper Club, and the Roadhouse.

He had great appreciation and respect for Native American Culture and believed in One Great Spirit. Leonard enjoyed socializing, participating in new experiences, making questionable choices (he said with a laugh!), outdoor activities, bargain hunting, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. He believed it was a genetic lottery to even be born, and that it's a gift to die. He said he had a good life and was very appreciative of everything and everyone who touched his life. The highlight of his life were his children, Paige & Larry.

He thanks those who stood by him and helped him along the way in life. He also thanks all the medical professionals, especially UW Hospital and Clinics, for assisting with his care while living with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma, as well as Agrace Hospice, family & friends who all contributed to his care.

He will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Leonard is survived by his 2 children: Paige Pluemer & Larry Pluemer; mother of his children, Sandy (Schiffman) Pluemer; 6 siblings: Laurie (Gary) Simmons, Carol (Dennis) Hampton, Cheryl Knapp, Stanley (Jane) Pluemer, Gail Pluemer & Jeanne (Roderick Duff) Pluemer; along with many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Gale Knapp.

In lieu of plants & flowers, donations are preferred to Kathy's House in Leonard's memory. https://kathyshouse.app.neoncrm.com/forms/18
