Kathleen Sharon Johns, 77 of Cuba City, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Southwest Health Care Center in Platteville, WI. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 25 th at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cuba City, WI with Pastor Hee Kwon Jung officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City, WI. Friends may call on Monday, June 24 th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City, WI; also on Tuesday, June 25 th from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Kathleen was born on June 11, 1942 in Dubuque, IA to George and Lorraine (Nagelmaker)Wise. She attended Holy Ghost Catholic School and Senior High School in Dubuque, IA. She also attended Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, WI. Kathleen was a Pharmacy Technician and retired from the business office at Southwest Health Center. She enjoyed volleyball, attending musical concerts, riding motorcycle with Bob, attending plays at the Fireside Theater, bus trips, spending time with family and friends, visiting with the grandkids, eating ice cream at Culver's. She was an avid Elvis fan and loved to dance. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving Kathleen is her husband of 41 years, Robert; son David (Wendy) Richard of Dubuque, IA; daughter, Drs. Paula (Mitch) Liester of Monument, CO; son, Daniel (Ceneza) Richard of Dubuque, IA; daughter, Mary Beth (Steve) Wilkes of Lodi, WI; son, Mark (Sue) Richard of Union Grove, WI; daughter, Dr. Lynn (David) Randall of Peosta, IA, daughter, Carolyn (Mounir) Farid of Cuba City, WI; daughter, Christine Toman of Elburn, IL; son, Randy (Lisa) Johns of Cuba City, WI; daughter, Cheryl (Todd) Chiaverotti of Darlington, WI; sister, Marilyn (Harold) Brehm of Kieler, WI; sister, Gigi Plumley of Dubuque, IA; brother, Robert (Brenda) Wise of Dubuque, IA; 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Linda Stoffel and brother-in-laws, Terrence Stoffel and Chris Plumley.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Kathleen Sharon Johns Memorial has been established.
