Judy will be remembered for her lighthearted spirit, warm heart, and the joy she brought into every room. She had a wonderful way of making others feel welcome and cherished, whether she was sharing stories, enjoying time with family and many special friends, or gathering around the table for a favorite card game. Those moments of friendly competition, laughter, and conversation are among the many ways she showed her love.

Judy's love for family began when she married Wesley "Jim" James Hocking in 1964. Together, Judy & Jim built a beautiful family rooted in love, faith, and devotion. After Jim's passing, Judy demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience, carrying their shared legacy forward with an enduring commitment to their three kids, Brian, Teresa & Michele. In time, Judy was blessed to find love again with Jake, bringing another meaningful chapter of companionship and happiness to her life. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she found happiness in their milestones, gatherings, and everyday memories created.

Judy is survived by a son, Brian (Paula) Hocking; a daughter, Teresa (Phil) Maas; 5 grandchildren: Braden (Laura) Hocking, Allison (Patrick) Hocking, Steven (Andie) Maas, Rachel Maas & Bryce Hocking; 3 great-grandchildren: Raegan Hocking, Dawson Roberts & Crew Hocking; a sister, Carol Bennett; and a brother, Charles (Karen) Watson; along by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell & Elinor Watson, her husband, Jim Hocking, her daughter, Michelle L. Hocking, and her devoted longtime partner, Jake Vogt.

In lieu of plants & flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to a charity of your choice in Judy's memory.
