John F. "Hezzy" Hall, 90, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI; with Pastor Roy Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the United Methodist Church Cemetery in Benton, WI. Friends may call on Saturday, August 29th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Hezzy was born on March 28, 1925 to Lester & Ada (Floyd) Hall in Benton, WI. He was raised in Benton, WI and farmed locally until moving to Hazel Green in 1960. He married Betty Lou Richardson on June 27, 1946 in New Diggings, WI. He was a member of the UAW 94 Dubuque John Deere Works, the Hazel Green Rescue Squad and Fire Department. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs and University of Wisconsin sports. He enjoyed going to the Dubuque casinos and with visiting with friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Hezzy is survived by many nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews; along with a special niece, Rochelle (Robert) Farrey of Salem, WI and close friends, Pat & Irene Hillary of Hazel Green, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty (Oct. 27, 2014). In lieu of flowers a John F. "Hezzy" Hall Memorial Fund has been established.
