John W. Audenby, 77, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Hazel Green & Racine, WI passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Eagle Pointe Place in Dubuque, IA. John was born on August 16, 1942 to Walter & Selma (Peck) Audenby in Racine, WI. He married Marilyn
(Schultz) and Pauline (Gedemer).

He was with the Racine Police Department for over 26 years until his retirement in 1993. John enjoyed playing the clarinet & saxophone in the Racine Municipal Band, where he was the general manager for many years, and helped teach within the Hazel Green High School Band. He loved to cook and made sure he shared his good cooking with everyone around him.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his daughter, Catherine (Joseph) Gabbey of Bremerton, WA; 2 grandchildren: Heidi Brandt of Bremerton, WA and Eric Gabbey of Fallon, NV; a brother, William (Deborah) Audenby of Prairie du Chien, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives.
