Jeff A. Paquette, 50, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA. A private family service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI. A private family burial will be held at a later date. A public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2nd at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI.
Per Jeff's request, all attendees are asked to wear casual attire. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Jeff was born on May 28, 1974 to Dan & Jean (Wiegman) Paquette in Dubuque, IA. He was a graduate from Cuba City High School. He worked for over 20 years at John Deere Dubuque Works in Dubuque, IA and was a member of the Local 94 UAW John Deere. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved time spent out on the water, such as the Mississippi River, Lake Vermillion & Big Sand Lake. Jeff enjoyed attending his kid's sporting events, fishing, hanging out with friends & family around a bonfire, a big Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. Jeff was a great Dad, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a friend to everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Danielle Paquette of Mount Horeb, WI; his son, Jacob (Brianna) Paquette of Platteville, WI; his parents, Dan & Jean Paquette of Cuba City, WI; 3 brothers: Jim (Julie) Paquette, John (Shelley) Paquette & Jason (Melissa) Paquette; nephews & nieces: Josh (Cassie) Paquette, Kayla (Tyler) Collins, Cassie Paquette, Austin (Savannah) Paquette, Riana Paquette, Megan (Matt) Reese & Emily (Ryan) Reese; 2 great-nieces: Lydia & Maelyn Paquette; a great-nephew, Paxton Collins, along with many great friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal & maternal grandparents.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Jeff A. Paquette Memorial Fund has been established.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Carbone Cancer Center at the UW-Madison Hospital, Dr. Campbell and the University of Iowa Hospital for their compassionate care given to Jeff & his family.
