Janet K. Patterson, 83, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Ahva Living of East Dubuque, IL. A private family service will be held, with burial to follow in the Hazel Green Cemetery in Hazel Green, WI. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Janet was born on May 28, 1941 in Lima Township, WI, daughter of Milton & Marjorie (Bourret) Cushman. She was a graduate from Livingston High School. She married James "Jim" E. Patterson on July 13, 1963 in Livingston, WI. She worked at the National Guardian Life Insurance Company in Madison, WI, John Deere Dubuque Works and as a school secretary at Southwestern High School.

She was a member of the Hazel Green United Methodist Church, Cole Acres Golf Club, and the Hazel Green Library Board. Janet enjoyed golfing, playing cards, winter trips to Florida, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Janet is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim; 3 sons: Bret (Alice) Patterson, Dirk Patterson, both of Hazel Green, WI & Kevin Patterson of Eau Claire, WI; 2 grandchildren: Grace & Mya; 3 siblings: Floyd "Butch" (Connie) Cushman, Jean Cummins & Daniel (Paula) Cushman; a sister-in-law, Christie (Dennis) Geyer; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Alvin Cushman and a brother-in-law, Gary Cummins.

In lieu of plants & flowers, a Janet K. Patterson Memorial Fund has been established.
