Isabelle "Issy" C. Haudenshield of Cuba City, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA. Services will be 10:30am on Friday, April 26th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City, WI, with Father David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Rose Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, April 25th from 2pm-8pm at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and on Friday prior to church services, from 9am-10am at the funeral home.

Issy was born on October 19, to John and Clara (Peil) Malloy in Dubuque, IA. She was a graduate of Holy Trinity School and played basketball while attending The Visitation in Dubuque, IA. Following graduation, she worked at Roshek's Department Store in Dubuque, IA. She married Sydney Haudenshield, Jr. and together they operated Haudenshield Funeral Homes serving families in the tri-state area. After Syd's death, she continued with operating the funeral home with her son, Richard and her granddaughter Jillian Krueger serving as funeral directors. Throughout her life, Issy was very active within the community. She was a member of the Cuba City Apartments, Cuba City Chamber of Commerce, Galena Territory Association, Hospital Auxiliary, Charter Member of Cole Acres, Haudenshield Ambulance Service and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and St. Rose Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed traveling, an avid card player, trips with Betty Riley and Ava Guler, watching the Chicago Cubs & the Green Bay Packers, her beloved dogs, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always enjoyed spending time with them. Issy resided with her daughter Nancy in Hazel Green, WI. She leaves all her family with the knowledge that they were truly loved; we will miss you Mom.

Issy is survived by her six children: Edward (Cindy) Krueger of Appleton, WI, Mary Jo (Dave) Petsche of Hazel Green, WI, Nancy (Leo) Marty-Renand of Las Vegas, NV, James Krueger of Dubuque, IA, Judith (Mark) Bruenig of Peosta, IA and Richard (Janet) Krueger of Hazel Green, WI; a sister, Mary Jane (Lyle) Davis of Dubuque, IA; one aunt, Mildred "Sis" Schnee of Dubuque, IA; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Syd, a son, Thomas L. Krueger, grandson, James Seymour.

In lieu of flowers an Isabelle C. Haudenshield Memorial Fund has been established.
