Irene A. Graham, 89, of Platteville, WI, formerly of Shullsburg, WI passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI; with Pastor Gus Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Gratiot, WI. Family & friends may call on Wednesday, May 20th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Irene was born on January 9, 1937 to Joe & Helen (Short) McDonald in Gratiot, WI. She married William "Bill" P. Graham on April 21, 1956 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gratiot, WI. She was a member of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Shullsburg, WI.

She worked as a teller for First National Bank & Citizen's National Bank in Darlington, WI. Irene also worked as a clerk at Leahy's Supermarket in Shullsburg, WI.

Irene enjoyed camping at Jellystone Park in Bagley, WI & Devil's Lake, walking at Smith Park in Platteville, WI, little trips to the Q Casino, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Irene is survived by her husband of 70 years, Bill; 5 children: Patty (Grant) Russell of Stoughton, WI, Annie (Joe) Martin of Darlington, WI, Bill (Connie) Graham of Platteville, WI, Donna (Randy) Laird & Deb (Kevin) Hochberger, both of Shullsburg, WI; 9 grandchildren: Kyle (Lyndsay) Graham of Wilmington, NC, Ryley (Talia) Laird of Oconomowoc, WI, Katie (Carson) Crist of New Glarus, WI, Colton (Sami) Laird of Shullsburg, WI, Alyssa (Joel Crandall) Graham of Asheville, NC, Miles (Dora) Russell of Milwaukee, WI, Jayde (Kyle Rose) Russell of Platteville, WI, Jake (Emily) Martin of Stoughton, WI, Pierce (Jess) Russell of Oregon, WI; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Lorraine (Jerry) Bartels, Laureen (Tom) Donahoe & Jerry Cullen; a brother, Johnny (Carmen) McDonald; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jimmy (Janet) McDonald; a sister, Joan (Jerry) Moore; a brother-in-law, Danny Cullen; and a nephew, Aaron Bartels.

In lieu of plants & flowers, an Irene A. Graham Memorial Fund has been established.
