Henry B. Crapp, 69, of Cuba City, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 7th. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 11th at 11:30 a.m. at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Following the service, lunch will be served at the United Methodist Church. Henry was born on August 9, 1941 to William and Pearl (DeWitt) Crapp in Madison, WI. He was a graduate of Madison East High School. He married Mary Louise Garver on September 19, 1965 in Rockford, IL. He retired from John Deere Dubuque Works in 1996 after 30 years, and was a member of UAW 94. He was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, and for that, he traveled around the country to help deliver meals and supplies to victims of natural disasters. He was an active HAM radio operator, with memberships in HVARC, GRARC, and Navy MARS. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family while camping, fishing, hunting, boating, and snowmobiling. Henry loved telling jokes, and he always had a story to share when he met a friend on the street. He never met a stranger, and he never passed by a person in need. Henry is survived by his wife Mary of Cuba City; two daughters: Lisa (Daniel) Schulte of Hartland, and Pamela (Daniel) Turner of Boscobel; three grandchildren: Tyler and Jamie Schulte and Peyton Turner; one sister: Pat (Bob) Blackmore of Douglas, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Billy Crapp, and a grandson Justin Schulte. In lieu of flowers a Henry B. Crapp Memorial Fund has been established.
