Gregg A. Marcotte, 44, of Shullsburg, WI passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 6th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg, WI. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Gregg was born on June 9, 1979 to Henry & Alexis (Michnevitz) Marcotte Jr. in Manhasset, NY. He worked for over 10 years at the Hodan Center in Mineral Point, WI. He was a kind and gentle person and helped those in need. Gregg enjoyed drawing, playing guitar, especially for his clients, he loved a broad range of music, watching documentaries, road trips, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gregg is survived by his parents, Henry & Alexis Marcotte Jr. of Monfort, WI; his partner, Lisa Heller of Shullsburg, WI; his son, Atticus Marcotte; a step-daughter, Katie Clements; 8 siblings: Denton (Robbie) Marcotte, Michael (Denise) Marcotte, David (Kady) Marcotte, Mary Marcotte, Anne March, Carrie Marcotte, Jane (Cristina) Marcotte & Megan (Liang) Cai; 2 uncles: Kim (Susan) Michnevitz & Joe (Lois) Marcotte; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Marcotte.

In lieu of plants & flowers, a memorial fund for Gregg's son, Atticus has been established at Clare Bank.
