Gerald L. Messer, 70, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Per Gerald's wishes, there will be no services. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Gerald was born on June 15, 1952 to Glenn & Maryanne (Lange) Messer in Dixon, IL. He married Susan Messenger on March 14, 1970 in Sterling, IL. He worked as a welder & fabricator for many years at Hennig Inc. Gerald enjoyed old cars, motorcycles, scooters, Barret Jackson auctions, bass fishing, gardening, landscaping, decorating, but most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Susan; 2 daughters: Glenna (Dwain) Foster of Hazel Green, WI and Bridget (Mike) Messenger of Ashton, IL; 6 grandchildren: Aceley, Abbey, Aggey, Anney, Gage & Heather; 3 great-grandchildren: Chase, Bo & Alley; his mother, Maryanne Olson; 5 siblings: Jack Messer, Loree (Richard) Brooks, Jeff Messer, Denny Olson & Donna Olson; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn and step-father, Donald Olson.
