Gary F. Gile, 75, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Meriter Unity Point Hospital in Madison, WI. Services will be held on Sat. Jan. 10th at 11:30am at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Shullsburg, WI with Father Joji Reddy officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthews Cemetery, Shullsburg, WI. Friends may call from 9:30am until time of service on Sat. Jan 10th at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Shullsburg, WI. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Gary was born on Nov. 10, 1939 to James & Genevieve (Townsend) Gile in Shullsburg, WI. Gary grew up in the Shullsburg, WI and helped with making cheese at the family cheese factory. From 1962-1975 he started Dairy farming, in the Shullsburg area, and later started Gile Surge Dairy Equipment and ran that until 1990. He then moved to Fond du Lac, WI and purchased a Surge Dairy Equipment business that he and his wife Diane ran until 1998. They then moved back to Hazel Green, WI and owned and operated The Coach-N-Four Supper Club which later changed the name to Oakside Supper Club until their retirement. He married Diane M. Digman on May 21, 1994 in Green Bay, WI. Gary enjoyed trips to the casino, camping, boating, watching Vann White, bartending, but most of all, time spent with his family and fiends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Gary is survived by his wife & daughter, Diane & Megan Gile, of Hazel Green, WI; ;his children: Joni(Scott) Downs of Hartford, WI, Jim Gile of Menominee Falls, WI, Judi (Kevin) Behen of Mundelein, IL, John (Dawn) Gile of Platteville, WI, Melissa Gile of Darlington, WI and Rory Gile of Elkhorn, WI; 11 grandchildren; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Timothy; a daughter, Jacqueline; 2 brothers and a sister. In lieu of flowers a Gary F. Gile Memorial Fund has been established.
