Floyd was born on November 18, 1937 to Floyd & Edna (Gerharts) Richardson in Potosi, WI. He married Sharon L. Corpian on March 31, 1956 in Dubuque, IA. He worked for Caradco Windows in Dubuque, IA and was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed antiquing with Sharon up north, tinkering on cars, mowing his yard, old country music, hunting with his brother Edward, Nascar racing and wrestling fan, but most of all time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Floyd is survived by 3 children: Jeff (Kathy) Richardson, Vickie (Dan) Hibner both of Platteville, WI and Laurie Mueller of Montfort, WI; 8 grandchildren: Toni & Rachel Richardson, Jacob (Sara) Hibner, Wesley Hibner, Amy (Lee) Hendricks, Ben Reuter, Travis & Tyler Mueller; 9 great grandchildren;1 brother, Leroy "Slick" (Marge) Richardson, a sister, Betty (Rink) Emler, along with nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon (November 7, 2016), a brother, Edwards and a son-in-law, Steve Mueller.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Floyd "Harvey" Richardson Jr. Memorial Fund has been established.
