Evelyn Mary DeMuth, 95, of Hazel Green, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI. Services will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, April 17th at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI, with Father Lance Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the St. Francis de Sales church cemetery in Hazel Green, WI. Friends may call from 4pm-8pm on Tuesday, April 16th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and also on Wednesday morning from 9am till 10am at the funeral home. Evelyn was born on May 30, 1917 in Kieler, WI daughter of Valentine & Bertha (Weigman) Wiederholt. She married Clarence DeMuth on Oct. 17, 1939 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kieler, WI; he preceded her in death on April 2, 2004. Evelyn farmed with her husband and was best known for her quilting, cooking and baking. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Evelyn is survived by her children: Mary Jane (David) Busch, Dick (Mary Jean) DeMuth, Betty (Don) Dreessens, Jim (Diane) DeMuth, Joyce (John) Uthe, Eunice (Bill) Oster, Tom (Sandy) DeMuth and Joe (Janice) DeMuth; she was also blessed with 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren; also with many nieces and nephews; a sister Margaret Bertjen and a sister-in-law Rosalyn (Bill) Doyle. She was preceded in death by her parents and step mother, Cecelia; husband, Clarence; 2 brothers: Ervin and Arnold Wiederholt and a great grandson Andrew DeMuth. In lieu of flowers a Evelyn M. DeMuth Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to thank the Epione Pavilion and Hospice of Dubuque for their outstanding care and compassion they have shown to Evelyn and her family.
