Eva S. Ginter, 75, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City, WI. Services will be at 12pm on Saturday, July 21 at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI, with Reverend Penny Thomsen officiating. Burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery in Dickeyville, WI. Friends may call from 10am till time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Eva was born on April 14, 1937 to Thomas & Eunice (Kittoe) Holt in Dodgeville, WI. She married Cletus P. Ginter on August 28, 1954 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville, WI. She lived her whole life in southwest Wisconsin. She worked as a telephone operator for the Dickeyville Telephone Company and at the Red Top Supper Club. Eva loved to attend harness racing events, country music, collecting dolls, animals and giving each farm animal its own name. But most of all she enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Eva is survived by 2 daughters: Sheila (Ralph) Davies of Monfort, WI and Jolene (Anthony) Baumann of Cuba City, WI; 3 sons: Randall (Cindy) Ginter of Riverside, CA, Tim (Patty) Ginter of Cuba City, WI and David (Christine) Ginter of Mineral Point, WI; 2 sisters: Amanda (Joe) Rueter of Lancaster, WI and Donna Mae Lape of Dubuque, IA; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 25 years, Cletus (Oct. 16, 1982); 4 brothers: Bob Kittoe, Art, Don & Marvin Holt; a sister, Anna Marie Murray and a great grandchild, Angel Colomer. In lieu of flowers an Eva S. Ginter Memorial Fund has been established.
