Dean E. Bennett, 52, of Racine, WI, formerly of Cuba City, WI passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. A private family service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 19 ^th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. A private family burial will be held at the Leadmine Primitive Methodist Cemetery in Leadmine, WI. Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 19 ^th from 10:00a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, all attendees are requested to wear a face mask and social distancing rules are to be followed. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Dean was born on November 20, 1967 to Louis & Eleanor (March) Bennett in Cuba City, WI. He was a graduate from Cuba City High School and UW-Platteville with a degree in ag engineering. Dean worked for many years at AGCO and later as a test engineer supervisor at John Deere in Horicon, WI and a technical engineer at CNH Industrial in Racine, WI. Dean enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, farming, a dog lover, especially his German shepherd, Allie, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dean is survived by his children: Irelan Bennett of Minneapolis, MN & Sawyer Bennett of Lansing, MI; 3 siblings: Jerry (Jackie) Bennett of Cuba City, WI, Joyce (Randy) Christen of San Antonio, TX and Donald Bennett of Stoughton, WI; his beloved dog, Allie and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Shea Christen.
