Cynthia "Cindy" J. Fishler, 78, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Monday, July 6th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI. A private family burial will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Cindy was born on October 21, 1947 to Harold & Rosemary (Bauer) Hoelting in Hazel Green, WI. She married Robert "Porky" Ferrin and they had 6 children, Terry, Tammy, Tina, Jodi, Tim & Tom. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1981. She later married Bob Fishler in 1982. Cindy worked as a waitress at Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Galena Territories, just outside of Galena, IL. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Bob Fishler; 4 children: Terry (Sheila) Ferrin of Mosinee, WI, Tammy (Lori Murphy) Ferrin of South Beloit, IL, Tina (Kimberlee Dobbs) Schuster of Benton, WI & Jodi (Bonnie Johnson) Ferrin of Asbury, IA; 2 step-children: Robin (Becky) Fishler of Cuba City, WI & Becky (Rick) Kemp of Dubuque, IA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Rick (Ellen) Goldthorpe; a sister-in-law, Cindy Goldthorpe of Cuba City, WI; along with many nieces & nephews; and her extended family, The Wilson Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Robert "Porky", 2 sons: Tim "Porky Jr." and Tom "Bubba", a grandson, Thomas "Flip" Jr., 2 brothers: Robert "Bob" Goldthorpe & William "Bill" "Goldy" Goldthorpe, and special friend, Mary Jean Wilson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you Dr. Ben Kumor and to St. Croix Hospice, especially Teri, Jess, Lorri, Breanna for their care and kindness given to Cindy and her family.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Cindy Fishler Memorial Fund has been established.
