C. Wayne Pearce, 85, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Unity Point Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA. A memorial service with military honors accorded will be held at 11:30 a.m.  on Saturday, January 20th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI. Burial will be held at a later date. Family & friends may call on Saturday, January 20th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI. Wayne was born on June 4, 1938 to Clarence & Margery (Scadden) Pearce in Hazel Green, WI. He was a graduate from Hazel Green, High School. He married Glenda J. Glanville on June 25, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in Hazel Green, WI. He was a US Army veteran. He worked for over 47 years as a welder & maintenance worked for John Deere Dubuque, Works. Wayne enjoyed fishing, farming, 1940's music, visits at his nephew Dennis' welding shop, having lunch with his friends at McDonald's twice a week, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his wife Glenda, family & friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Glenda, a sister, Irene (Pat) Hillary of Hazel Green, WI, a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Pearce of California; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Dale (Mary) Pearce, David (Joyce) (Donna) Pearce and Carl Pearce, and a sister-in-law, Barbara (Dennis) Damrau.

In lieu of plants & flowers a C. Wayne Pearce Memorial Fund has been established.
