Schuppel
Jun 9, 1958 — Feb 11, 2025
Columbus
Connie Lynn Schuppel, age 66, of Columbus, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025.
She was born on June 9, 1958, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Harry and Dorothy Sheeks. Connie devoted her early career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later worked as a dedicated medical biller until health challenges led to her early retirement. Despite those challenges, Connie never lost her vibrant spirit or love for life.
A creative and curious soul, Connie found joy in all sorts of crafts, board games, and genealogy. She loved tracing her family roots and sharing stories from the past. More than anything, she cherished spending time with her family, and her warmth, resilience, and unwavering love left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Schuppel, her siblings, Harry (Janette) Sheeks, Laurie (Steve) Jacob, Larry (Lisa) Sheeks, Sherie Sheeks, and Carrie (Gail) Kohn; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
To honor Connie's life and the strength she showed in the face of adversity, Lindsey is organizing the Columbus, WI Walk4CMT in her mother's memory. The event will be followed by a celebration of life on Sunday, June 8, 2025:
