Connie Alba, 98, of Beloit, WI, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Suites of Beloit. A service of remembrance is being planned for Spring 2024.  Complete arrangements are pending at Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI.

Connie was born May 15, 1925, the daughter of Refugio and Soledad (Reyes) Alba. She grew up in Beloit, WI and graduated from Beloit Memorial High School. She worked as a nurse at Beloit Memorial Hospital, until retiring in 1987.  Connie had a very strong faith in God and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Beloit and The Mexican Baptist Church in Rockford, IL. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Connie is survived by two brothers: Donald (Carol) Alba of Marengo, IA and Joseph (Nancy) Alba of Beloit, WI along with many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ralph Alba, and four sisters: Lou Alba, Carmen Bratton, Margaret Perkins and Betty Wallace.

In lieu of plants & flowers, a Connie Alba Memorial Fund has been established.
