Charles J. Biddick, 82, of Hazel Green, WI, passed away on Monday August 16, 2010 at Manor Care in Dubuque, IA. Services will be held 10:30 am on Friday August 20, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green, WI, with Father Ron Kreul and Father Cy Weisensel officiating. Burial will be at a later date with military rites accorded. Friends may call on Thursday August 19, from 5-7pm at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and Friday from 9:30am till time of service at the church.

Charles was born on September 21, 1927 in Hazel Green, WI to Charles and Freda (Kreul) Biddick. He was a WWII US ARMY veteran. On August 21, 1948 he married Dorothy Halverson in Mineral Point, WI. Charles retired from John Deere Dubuque Works after 28 years. He was a member of the: U.A.W Local 94, St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and the American Legion Post 526 Temperly-Duncan in Hazel Green, WI. Charles enjoyed gardening, his pet dog Suzie, and was an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan.

Charles is survived by two sons: Dennis (Mary Kay) Biddick of Hazel Green, WI and Jeff (Margie) Biddick of Eldridge, IA: two daughters: Dee Ann (Terry) Speaker of Janesville, WI and Landa Biddick of Madison, WI; daughter-in-law Nancy Biddick of Dickeyville, WI; three sisters: Darlene Heimerl of Dodgeville, WI, Ruth Ann (Larry) Anderson and Sandy (Gordy) Thomson of Baraboo, WI; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy (03/25/09), a son Bruce and Uncle Harold Kreul.
