Carol Ann Sutter, 72, of Hazel Green, WI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29th at the Harmony Church in Zwingle, IA with Rev. Susen LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Church Cemetery in Zwingle, IA. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday September 29th at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family. Carol was born on April 8, 1943 to Fred & Marcella (Brady) Horch in Dubuque, IA. She worked for over 33 years at Sutter's Bakery in Dubuque, IA where she met her husband, James J. Sutter. They were married on July 15, 1961 in Dubuque, IA and lived in Dubuque, IA until 1972 and moved to Hazel Green, WI. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays (mainly Christmas), cooking and time spent with her family; especially her beloved dogs, Elvis, Bonnie & Gizmo. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jim; 6 sons: Jay, Fred & Troy all of Hazel Green, WI, Sam of Arizona, Bill & Bob both of East Dubuque, IL; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Sutter of East Dubuque, IL; a son-in-law, Tom Richey of Central City, IA; 8 grandchildren: Tommy (Robyn), Nicki (Breck), Crystal (Keith), Freddy, Tylor, Kelly, Amber (Nick) & Missy; 4 great grandchildren: Kaylee, Emerson, Hank & Emma; a brother, Kenny Horch and a special family friend, Joe Kruser. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cindy Richey, 2 brothers: Fred "Junie" Horch & Dick Horch and a sister-in-law, Peggy Horch. In lieu of flowers a Carol A. Sutter Memorial Fund has been established.
