Calvin R. Kieler, 51, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 5, 2015. Services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, Jan 9th at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Bernie Rott officiating. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Kieler, WI. Friends may call from 3pm - 7pm on Thurs. Jan 8th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI and on Friday, Jan 9th from 9:30am until time of service at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, Kieler, WI. Calvin was born on Sept. 23, 1963 to Harvey & Mary (Adam) Kieler in Cuba City, WI. He was a graduate of Cuba City High School. Calvin owned and operated Kieler Firewood; he was very passionate in everything he did. Calvin enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, going to auctions, playing cards and time spent with his family, especially nieces &nephews and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Calvin is survived by his mother, Mary of Kieler, WI; fiancée, Maureen Knupp of Cuba City, WI; 9 siblings: Steve (Wenegrace) of Cuba City, WI, Jeff of Hazel Green, WI, Greg (Evie McCann) of Cuba City, WI, Neil(Charlene)of Dickeyville, WI, Julie (Dale)Salzmann of Hazel Green WI, Pat of Platteville, WI, Pam of Dickeyville, WI, Becky(Dwight Miller) of Dickeyville, WI and Kurt of Cuba City, WI; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey and grandparents, Charles & Josephine Kieler and Roy & Lucille Adam. In lieu of flowers a Calvin R. Kieler Memorial Fund has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dubuque for the loving care they have provided to Calvin and his family.
