Betty J. Riley, 82, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Thursday November 12, 2009 at her home. There is no public visitation and a private family burial at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Betty was born on May 7, 1927 to Richard and Harriet (Birkett) Bennett in New Diggings, WI. She attended Sullivan Grade School and Cuba City High School. She married Donald Riley, worked at AY McDonald, and retired years later. Betty enjoyed time spent fishing, playing cards, trips to the casino and morel hunting. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by two sisters: Mabel (Ed) Stark and Mildred Loomis and one brother, Clarence (JoAnn) Bennett, along with many nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald (1971), three brothers: Norman Bennett, Jim Bennett and Melvin Bennett; two sisters: Gert Sheffer and Daisy Carpenter.
